Film buffs now have an excellent reason to take a nice long break from their last-minute shopping thanks to The Houston Film Critics Society 2008 Awards Presentation. This year marks the second time this group has gotten together to grant awards and the very first time theyre holding an actual ceremony followed by a little party, of course. Last years winners included the Coen brothers and the Greenway 3 Theatre, among many others. And psst, just between you and me, this year The Dark Knight is getting lots of buzz. But you wont know the winners till you get there.
