There might not be such a thing as a free lunch anymore, but, for today at least, there is a free helmet. The first 50 skaters at the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark this morning get a free S-1 helmet, thanks to the nice folks at Scion. And it’s free, as in zero money, nada, zilch. You have to be 17 years old or younger and participate in a safety session before you walk off with your helmet, but you won’t have to pay a dime. 10 a.m. 103 Sabine.
