It's not easy traveling the world with your tarnished sex-symbol girlfriend Lindsay Lohan while you are trying to DJ at dance clubs all over the world, but somehow Samantha Ronson does it, every single night fueled on Red Bull and Marlboros. The brother of slickster producer Mark Ronson and stepdaughter of Foreigner's Mick Jones, Ronson has been carving out her own niche as a DJ for almost five years now. She began her musical career doing one-off acoustic girly numbers for teen comedies — including one for Lohan's Mean Girls — before parting ways with her label and sticking to the DJ booth. Shame, because she had kind of an Ani DiFranco thing going on, too. Ronson spins her own remixes and hipster-rock hits that keep her in high demand all across the world, even private parties in Dubai. No word as of yet if a certain redhead will be following her to Rich's, but we'll keep you posted.
