The dish called "crawfish bread" ($5.99) at Beaucoup Wings N Wings (3511 Elgin, 713-751-1705) is better than it sounds. A cross between garlic bread and a crawfish poor boy, it's served on a seven-inch piece of French bread, open-faced — which is important, since that way, you get even more of the scrumptious crawfish topping. The crawfish are sautéed in Cajun seasonings to give them just enough heat to be noticeable. This is slathered on top of the bread and topped off with a blend of cheeses that are melted under a grill, binding everything together. In case you're thinking of sharing this appetizer, think again.
