We’re going to give author C.J. Box a break and assume he wasn’t thinking about Miss Jolie when he put together a plot about someone named Angelina, an adopted baby and a powerful, distant father. Actually, the similarities end there. In Box’s new stand-alone thriller Three Weeks to Say Goodbye, the plot centers on a happy young couple and their adopted baby (she’s the one named Angelina). Nine months after bringing home their new baby, they get a phone call. The baby’s biological father, still just a teen himself, wants his baby back.
