In the movies, penguins can sing and dance. In real life, it seems they can draw too. Moody Gardens’s 45-minute Penguin Encounter includes a biologist-led tour of the pengers’ habitats and one-on-one time with them, along with a penguin-created piece of artwork. (We’re guessing there are little feet involved, because penguins don’t have any thumbs, so holding a paintbrush seems out of the question.) Admission is limited, so get there early. 1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Through March 8. 1 p.m. daily, from March 14 to March 22. One Hope Boulevard, Galveston.
