Courtship is pretty much the same for turtles, gorillas or humans. The males show off — for a turtle it’s stretching his neck — and the females choose the best prospect. At today’s Wild for Love, Houston Zoo Director Rick Barongi details the mating rituals of various members of the animal kingdom, with a good dose of humor. Then it’s time for a gourmet dinner, a stroll around the park and maybe some mating rituals of your own. 7 p.m. 6200 Golf Course Drive. For information, call 713-533-6500 or visit www.houstonzoo.org. $60 to $70.
