Labyrinth

Web exclusive!

The local Alamo Drafthouse has decided Austin can’t have all the fun — it’s bringing in the classic Jim Henson film Labyrinthto Houston, and Shuttle Debris is providing live music. (The fantasy film features a girl who wishes her baby brother into another world, and has to solve a maze in order to win him back.) The original music was created by David Bowie, who also starred as the King of the Goblins, and Trevor Jones. In the hands of Shuttle Debris, the reworked soundtrack will include electronica, pop and psychedelic music. The group uses a host of notebook computers, traditional instruments and electronic gadgets, making their version distinct. 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Alamo Drafthouse West Oaks, 1000 West Oaks Road. For information, call 281-920-9211 or visit www.drafthouse.com/westoaks. $12.
