Meet Serge A. Storms, the lead character in Tim Dorsey’slatest title, Nuclear Jellyfish. Serge is a bit of an oddball. He’s a tour guide, history nut and, oh yeah, serial killer. This time Serge is after a diamond thief called Jellyfish, but he doesn’t mind putting some hurt on skinheads beating up a homeless guy or motel managers and car mechanics who shortchange the tourists as well. The camp, violent Nuclear Jellyfish isn’t the right read for anyone with a weak stomach, but those fans who don’t object to bad guys getting their due — even when it’s from other bad guys — will love it. Dorsey reads from and signs his 11th thriller today at 6:30 p.m. Murder by the Book, 2342 Bissonnet. For information, call 713-524-8597 or visit www.murderbooks.com. Free.
