Author Thomas Cahill will discuss one man’s experience with the Texas justice system at Kindness and Courage on Death Rowtoday. Based on his newly released book, A Saint on Death Row, Cahill’s talk recounts the life of Texas inmate Dominique Green. Just 18 when he was convicted for murdering a man in Houston, Green spent 12 years on death row. Despite pleas from hundreds of supporters including Desmond Tutu and the victim’s family, he was executed in 2004.
