Embedded U.S. journalists in Iraq told us one side of the story, now unembedded Rick Rowley tells us another. Rowley’s “Beyond the Walls: The Battle for Iraq’s Future”is a collection of short films shot outside the Green Zone, in Falluja, a Mehdi Army stronghold in Sadr City, and a U.S. prison at Umm Qasr.
