Sharks get a bad rap as ruthless killing machines. Yeah, yeah, they do eat people every once in a while, but the truth is that bees kill more people each year than sharks do (we will admit, sharks are way scarier than bees). You’ll get a better picture of the Great White, Hammerhead and Whale sharks in the new IMAX film Sharks 3D. Jean-Michel Cousteau presents the story of the swimming predators in eye-popping 3D. Times vary, daily. Through May 2. Houston Museum of Natural Science, One Hermann Circle Drive. For information, call 713-639-4603 or visit www.hmns.org. $6 to $10.
