John Steinbeck’s famous novel The Grapes of Wrathgets the musical treatment in today’s Houston premiere of the show at The Edythe Bates Old Moores Opera Center. (The music doesn’t change the story, though; it’s still a heartbreaking tale.) 7:30 p.m. April 3, 4 and 6, and 2 p.m. April 5. Moores Opera House.
