Known as reality TV’s sexiest and most romantic couple, Joyce and Uchenna Agu were winners of the seventh season of The Amazing Race. Once they got back home to Houston with their million-dollar prize, the Agus started The Great Raise Houston, a fund-raiser patterned after the reality show. It’s no surprise, then, that the couple chose The Sound of Music as their presentation for the Movies Houstonians Lovescreening series. The sweet, uplifting musical is the tale of an Austrian family that escapes the Nazis in the 1930s, with just each other and a song. It must seem very familiar to the Agus, who overcame dozens of seemingly insurmountable obstacles during their race around the world. 6 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, 1001 Bissonnet. For information, call 713-639-7515 or visit www.mfah.org. $6 to $7.
