Spend some time with Two Star Symphony during Discovery Green’s Sundays in the Park for a lovely, if eerie, afternoon. The local string quartet will be performing its classical, Danny Elfman-esque tunes as part of the Sunday concert series. In the past, Two Star has used its symphonic powers to rescore the renowned horror film Nosferatu, compose tunes influenced by the works of Edward Gorey and create an original score for Dominic Walsh Dance Theater’s performance Titus Andronicus. 3 to 5 p.m. Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney. For information, call 713-400-7336 or visit www.discoverygreen.com. Free.
