True story: Years ago, this writer ran smack into comedians Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer in an East Village bar, holding court in character as Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel, David St. Hubbins and Derek Smalls. It was a wise-ass musician's wet dream, which should also be the case when the triumvirate of comic geniuses takes the stage at Jones Hall — for an acoustic "Unwigged and Unplugged" show. Sure, there probably won't be any exploding drummers or hilariously malfunctioning stage props, but whatever. The three will still play "Sex Farm" and "Stonehenge" (as well as songs from their faux-folk doc A Mighty Wind), so quit griping and get your tickets.
