See what happens when American ideas meet Mexican techniques, and vice versa, in “The Harmony of Mexico/Matizando México,”an exhibit of works by a group known as the Classical Impressionists of El Paso. Artists include Lynne Welch, Nina C. Walker, Neil Gunn and Carmen “Kany” Rodriguez. There’s an opening-night reception today, with bigwigs from the Consulate General of Mexico (the show’s sponsors). 6 p.m. opening reception.
