The Harris County Hospital District Breast Care Center for Excellence is giving folks an alternative to the usual stuffy black-tie fund-raising galas — Crawl for Cancer, a Midtown club crawl. You raise money for cancer treatment and research and get blotto drunk at the same time. (Okay, maybe blotto isn’t a good idea, but at least buzzed.) Teams will spend the afternoon visiting five bars, downing four pitchers of beer at each one. Participating bars include Pub Fiction. 1 to 8 p.m. 2303 Smith.
