It promises to be a zoo at the Wild About Wine fund-raiser for the Center for Ecosystem Survival. Hosted by the Galveston Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers, Wild About Wine features lots and lots of local wines and up-close encounters with Moody Garden’s marine animals. If you’d rather not feed a seal or watch a penguin “paint” a canvas, you can opt for dancing or just go back to the wine. Either way, the monies raised help recovery efforts and preservation of coral reefs and rainforests. 7 p.m. Moody Gardens Aquarium Pyramid. One Hope Boulevard. For information, call 800-582-4673 or visit www.moodygardens.com. $30.
