You don’t have to understand Czech to get the jokes in the cowboy musical Lemonade Joe. A parody of American westerns, Lemonade Joe features a teetotaling hero out to get his fellow cowboys to give up the hard stuff and join him in drinking lemonade (it seems whiskey interferes with the ability to shoot straight). Director Oldrich Lipsky, part of the Czech New Wave cinema movement, delivers a laugh-out-loud comedy full of dancing saloon girls, raucous cowboys, cheating poker players and, for some reason, a trumpet player in blackface. 8:30 p.m. Domy Books, 1709 Westheimer.
