Be happy, Houston - our lady of the beautiful red hair has risen once again and she's bigger (as in, very pregnant) and better than ever. That's Tamarie Cooper, for those poor souls who've never seen one of the grande dame's grand musicals. They always happen in the summer, and they're always deliciously narcissistic, focusing, as they do, on all things Tamarie. According to Cooper, this year's The Tamarie Cooper Show: Journey to the Center of My Brainis a "journey of self discovery" where we get to meet her id and super-ego/Jewish grandmother. And since she's seven months pregnant, there are all those raging hormones running around mixing things up. "It'll be like The Clash of the Titans," promises Cooper. The fun includes the song "Sex Me Up Gilligan," about her first crush on Gilligan - yep, the skinny dude from the island.

Cooper has brought her beautifully silly brain to life and put it on the stage for all of us to enjoy. Every year, she tells the performers who sign on for one of her shows that they're all going to be "ass clowns, they have to check their dignity at the door." But anyone who's laughed till they peed themselves at one of her shows already knows how outrageously hilarious Cooper can be when she's singing and dancing and telling us all about her wonderfully goofy self. And since she's planning to take next year off to be with her new babe, fans should make sure to see this show. It will be 2011 when we see her again.
