It's an easy concept - at Zulu Creative’s 3rd Birthday Celebration and TOMS Style Your Sole Shoe Designing Party, you buy a pair of blank, white TOMS to decorate in any way you like. In exchange, TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a needy kid. You get some cool shoes and some good karma from helping a kid out, plus a cool party with music by DJ Chicken George and special guest artist Gonzo247 (how many times can you say you painted something with one of Houston's most popular street artists?). 1 to 5 p.m. The Spacetaker Artist Resource Center, 2101 Winter Street.
