"The Hosek Collection of American Art"

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts hadn't even opened its doors when Chip Hosek, a private collector, approached them and said he had some American art he was willing to give the Pearl for an exhibit. The works included paintings by Norman Rockwell, Jamie Wyeth and John Falter. The museum eagerly said, "yes." The "An American View: The Hosek Collection of American Art" exhibit is the result. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. 6815 Cypresswood, Spring.
