Out of the Dark: Bobbindoctrin Nightclub Acts features works Joel Orr has been waiting to do for a long time - again. The revue includes shows from the early days when Orr performed in bars. "I miss doing these plays," says the founder of the Bobbindoctrin Puppet Theatre. Back then, Orr says, his puppet shows had to be loud, fast and funny "to garner the attention that you need from a drinking audience." He'll have the crowd's full attention this time around when Bobbindoctrin revisits a tale about the elimination of koala bears, as well as the story of a suicidal writer who decides to torture kidnapped kids with his half-assed retelling of classic children's stories, among others. 9 p.m. today, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
