"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition"

Can waterfalls really freeze?

Step into C.S. Lewis's fantasy world at "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition." The interactive displays transport visitors to the films' famed settings. Visitors enter the exhibit through a wardrobe in an attic (just like in the movie), stepping out into a Narnian winter, complete with snowfall. There's also the White Witch's throne (fully equipped with chill), frozen waterfalls and King Miraz's castle. You'll see the heroes of Narnia, such as the brave Minotaur Asterius, an array of creatures the White Witch has turned to stone, and the White Witch's sleigh, along with more than 150 more props, costumes and set dressings. See the exhibit, and the next time you watch the Narniamovies, you can say, "Hey, I've been there!" 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Through January 18, 2010. The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land, 13016 University Boulevard, Sugar Land. For information, call 713-639-4629 or visit www.hmns.org. $5 to $12.
