The Korean photographer discusses his work as a reflection of his country’s radical transformation

Over the last 50 years, Korea has gone from being one of the least powerful countries in the world to being a major political player. That transformation is reflected in they country’s contemporary art, and during today’s Artful Thursday, photographer Bohnchang Koo discusses how his homeland’s changing fortunes have affected his own work and that of his countrymen as seen in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston’s exhibit “Chaotic Harmony: Contemporary Korean Photography.” 6:30 p.m. 1001 Bissonnet.
