Some of the most disturbing scenes writer/director Dario Argento ever filmed are seen in his horror flick Opera. A psychotic version of Phantom of the Opera, Argento's tale centers on a young singer who's stalked by an overly ardent fan; that pretty much adheres to the Phantom plotline. But in Opera, the admirer brutally murders the diva's friends and forces her to watch. Yeah, that part's not in Phantom. Expect gore and general-purpose deviancy. 8:30 p.m. Domy Books, 1709 Westheimer. For information, call 713-523-3669 or visit www.domystore.com. Free.
