If the story of Snow White and her seven friends were written today, the guys might be named Tweeter, Porn Boy and Dude. Thankfully, playwright Laura Williams took a traditional approach to the children's theater production Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy and all the rest of the monikers stayed in place. Kids will recognize not just the names but the familiar story of kindness winning out over jealousy. (But we gotta admit, a fairy tale with a lead character named Porn Boy would probably be pretty interesting.) 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturdays. Through February 20. Company OnStage, 536 Westbury Square. For information, call 713-726-1219 or visit www.companyonstage.org. $8.
Fridays, Saturdays, 11 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. Starts: Jan. 16. Continues through Feb. 20, 2010
