Elizabeth Gilbert's memoir/phenomenon Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesiamay have finally hit the proverbial wall with the recent release of the parody Drink, Play, F@#k: One Man's Search for Anything Across Ireland, Las Vegas, and Thailand. Still, there are millions of Gilbert fanatics out there, lured by her international tale of self-discovery after a wrenching divorce, and her subsequent hot love for a Brazilian named Felipe. Today, Gilbert will read from the sequel/sure-to-be-phenomenon Committed: A Skeptic Makes Peace with Marriage (each audience member will receive a copy with their admission), the tale of how she came to marry said Brazilian lover. The reading will benefit the Ucross Foundation, a rural-Wyoming retreat for professional creative types like Gilbert, who wrote her tales of womanly epiphany while in residence there.
