The still unsolved murder of Benazir Bhutto, America's troubled relationship with Pakistan and Pakistan's link with terrorists - these all factor into Alex Berenson's newest thriller, The Midnight House. The story starts when a CIA operative and a former Army Ranger, both members of a ten-man team that operated the top-secret interrogation camp Midnight House, are killed. Since the team used extreme techniques to question captives, including Muslim extremists, CIA agent John Wells is called in to see if the murders are retaliation. But the more he finds out about Midnight House, the more questions he has about the men he's tasked with protecting.
