Camelot

Don't worry about what the King's doing, what are Guenevere and Lancelot up to?

Lyricist Alan Jay Lerner and composer Frederick Loewe, the talents behind the magical musicals Brigadoonand My Fair Lady, also created the romantic Camelot. The story of a love triangle between King Arthur, his beloved Queen Guenevere and the brave knight Sir Lancelot, Camelot features the theater classics "If Ever I Would Leave You," "How to Handle a Woman" and "I Wonder What the King Is Doing Tonight." There are no happy endings in Camelot, but there's a great score, and this Masquerade Theatre production should make good use of it. 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays. Through February 28. Hobby Center, 800 Bagby. For information, call 713-315-2525 or visit www.masqueradetheatre.com. $36.25 to $66.25.
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 19. Continues through Feb. 28, 2010
