The Sunshine Boys

You can't call these guys bright or cheery

UpStage Theatre is marking its tenth anniversary with a remounting of its first-ever production, The Sunshine Boys. Actors Robert Lowe and Marc Shellum reprise their roles as Al Lewis and Willy Clark, two warring and aging vaudevillians who, despite their bitter feud, agree to perform their act one last time. Inspired by real-life vaudeville duos Smith and Dale (who did get along) and Gallagher and Shean (who didn't), The Sunshine Boys is considered to be one of Neil Simon's funniest comedies. 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Through March 6. Lambert Hall, 1703 Heights. For information, call 713-838-7191 or visit www.upstagetheatre.org. $15.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: Feb. 19. Continues through March 6, 2010
