Comedian/actress Patti Vasquezgot her start onstage by dropping out of grad school at Northwestern (ouch!). Leaving a Ph.D. in history unfinished, she went on to star in her own one-woman shows. The first was Pregnant Party Girl: From Stoli's to Stirrups, followed by Mamacita: Tales of a Diaper Diva. Her shows and stand-up routines rip the rose-colored glasses from the audience's eyes. She reminds them that parenthood is filled with droopy diapers, vomit, suspicious smells and the terrible two's that go on for three or four years. Sure, there's some cuddling involved, but there's lots more crying and spilt milk. 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7, 9 and 10:45 p.m. Saturday, and 8 p.m. Sunday. 8905 Louetta Road. For information, call 281-655-7777 or visit www.laffspot.com. $15.
Fri., April 23, 8 & 10:30 p.m.; Sat., April 24, 7, 9 & 10:45 p.m.; Sun., April 25, 8 p.m., 2010
