I love you, you love me not
It's a triangle of truths in The Callback, a new play by Gary Laird. The satire revolves around a trio of characters. There's Gabe, a successful playwright; Mark, Gabe's agent and ex-lover; and Ren, an actor who's Gabe's current lover. The story is a witty look at relationships and aspirations (basically, Mark loves Gabe, Gabe loves Ren and Ren loves, uh, Ren). 8 p.m. Midtown Art Center, 3414 La Branch.
