Over sixty-five years ago, Hitler was terrorizing Europe. Among the many cities he captured at the time was Leningrad. The city was held for 872 days. A group of photojournalists developed their own way of resistance - they photographed the people's suffering and the horrible conditions they endured. Unable to end the siege, they could at least document it. The art exhibit "The Inner Space of War. The Blockade of Leningrad in Photographs,"straight from the vaults of Russian museums and archives, is a collection of some 150 of those black-and-white images made from the original negatives of those photographers. There's an opening reception at 3 p.m. May 7. Regular viewing hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Through June 25. One Allen Center Art Gallery, 500 Dallas.
