Most folks know Craig Robinson from The Office and films like Pineapple Express and Hot Tub Time Machine. He's also hosting the upcoming season of Last Comic Standing and BET's Hip Hop Honors. Despite his busy schedule, Robinson is making time to return to the stage. While there is little writing involved, that doesn't mean he lacks new material. His act is largely based on improvised audience interaction delivered on a keyboard. He sings R&B-style about everything from crowd members to waiters to panties to the latest gadgetry, including the Shake Weight, or as Robinson says, "the [thing] that looks like people are masturbating or doing something else to somebody else." Robinson shakes things up at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The Houston Improv, 7620 Katy Freeway. For information, call 713-333-8800 or visit www.improvhouston.com. $22 to $25.
