Several of the Islamic world's most accomplished musicians are featured in the documentary Sufi Soul: The Mystic Music of Islam. The film shows internationally renowned writer and historian William Dalrymple as he travels through Turkey, Syria, Morocco and Pakistan searching for examples of the mystic music that is an integral part of Sufism religious traditions.
