Let's Misbehave

Kate Clinton shares the spotlight with the Gay Men's Chorus of Houston

The Pride Festival and Parade isn't until next week, but the LGTB community is getting a head start on the celebration when the Gay Men's Chorus of Houston joins forces with lesbian comedian Kate Clinton for Let's Misbehave. The program includes such LGTB musical classics as Tom Lehrer's "Masochism Tango" and Monty Python's "Every Sperm Is Sacred." There's also a rousing rendition of Eric Lane Barnes's "Homomotion." Clinton, who is currently crisscrossing the country on her Lady Haha tour, will add some comic relief between songs (although we're guessing there's going to be plenty of giggles during "Homomotion"). 7:30 p.m. Jones Hall, 615 Louisiana. For information, call 713-521-7464 or visit www.bayoucityperformingarts.org. $19 to $55.
Sat., June 19, 7:30 p.m., 2010
