Baytown's 4th of July Parade and Celebration

Houston's small-town neighbor throws a big, big independence bash

One day isn't long enough to celebrate America's independence, so the annual Baytown 4th of July Parade and Celebration is a full weekend of live entertainment, including music by Blue Oyster Cult and Joe Nichols; a parade with floats, marching bands and drill teams all bedazzled in red, white and blue; and a fireworks spectacular. 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Bicentennial Park, 1001 Market Street, Baytown. For information, call 281-420-6597 or visit www.baytown.org. Free.
Sat., July 3; Sun., July 4, 2010
