Ah, what we do for love. In the musical Little Shop of Horrors, lowly flower-shop assistant Seymour (played by Mark Ivy) is willing to do quite a bit for love, even if it means feeding fresh blood to a strange carnivorous plant. Seymour, a rather plain sad sack, is in love with a pretty, popular and completely unattainable girl named Audrey (played by Ivy Castle-Rush). When Seymour discovers an exotic plant, it causes a sensation, drawing crowds into his flower shop just to get a glimpse of Audrey II, as Seymour names it. Suddenly the center of attention, Seymour starts making time with the human Audrey. On the surface, everything seems to be going well, but Seymour has a secret. Audrey II drinks blood - and as she gets larger, she gets greedier. Deborah Duncan, host of Great Day Houston!, supplies the voice of Audrey II in this Theatre Under the Stars production. 8:15 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Miller Outdoor Theatre, 6000 Hermann Drive.
