This is a glimpse into the big picture behind "The Big Show"
The opening reception for "The Big Show" at Lawndale Art Center was, as one person called it, like "a nightclub." There were so many people to meet and greet, no one had the chance to delve into the art. For a little more in-depth exploration of the works, Lawndale has The Big Slide Show. Some of the participating artists will narrate a short slide show of their pieces in the show and other works, giving the audience the opportunity to see the bigger picture. 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. 4921 Main.
