Young filmmakers' works will be on display in the second annual showing of the Aurora Boot Camp Films. The films were made as part of the Popcorn Kids educational series, a five-day camp where children and teens were given a unique hands-on experience in filmmaking. They learned firsthand what goes into making a movie - an experience that will enrich their lives, advance their knowledge in filmmaking and maybe (one day) score them a little gold statue of a bald dude with a stick. The films screen today at 7 p.m. Lambert Hall, 1703 Heights Boulevard. For information, call 713-868-2101 or visit www.aurorapictureshow.org. Free; RSVP requested.
