Think of it — the greatest detective of all time almost thwarted by an unexpected fog. That's what happens in The Hound of the Baskervilles, a 1959 film directed by Terence Fisher. Peter Cushing appears as Sherlock Holmes, Andre Morell as his partner Watson and Christopher Lee as Sir Henry Baskerville, the man both Holmes and Watson are trying to protect. At the climax of the film, the pair is well positioned to protect Sir Henry, but a pesky fog rolls in, obscuring Holmes's view and leaving the nobleman in danger. 3 p.m. Alamo Drafthouse/Mason, 532 South Mason Road. For information, call 281-492-6900 or visit www.drafthouse.com/mason. $8.50.
