The Houston Press's music blog Rocks Off is test-driving a new concept tonight at Walter's On Washington, pairing some of the city's best bands with the catalogs of their most revered artists, the ones who shaped their sound and attitude. The inaugural night brings hardcore kings The Burden covering their favorite songs from the Black Flag oeuvre, like "My War" and "Rise Above." Indie-rockers Young Girls will be turning out Kinks covers, and hopefully there will be Davies Brothers-style fistfights onstage. Rapper and recent HPMA winner Fat Tony is set to perform a handful of Too $hort songs at the gig as well. It's a free show for everyone and the bar will be slinging drink specials all night
