Leave it to Rudz booker Mike Sims to throw together an excellent mish-mash lineup for the Montrose institution's 32nd anniversary show. The evening begins with quirky songbird Teresa Kolo, who has been slowly moving toward completion of her next album with a clutch of new, witty songs about all the things that can go wrong with an urban lady. Rudz regulars Hell City Kings will then try to suck all the juice out of the power grid with their loud-as-hell crash-n-bash. And leave it to Sims, who always has his ear to the ground when it comes to unusual rock acts, to bring in Ultimate Warrior, a Thin Lizzy tribute side project of several notable locals, to close out the night. According to Sims, they've got about 45 minutes of material. The only thing that could make this better is if there was no cover... oh wait, there is no cover. Music starts at 9 p.m., preceded by a barbecue buffet at 6 p.m. and screening of a new film from Cleo the Cat at 4 p.m.
