1st Annual Brewmasters International Beer Festival
Everybody needs a hobby, right? Why not make yours beer?
Labor Day weekend usually involves copious amounts of beer, but this holiday you can say it's an educational endeavor at the 1st Annual Brewmasters International Beer Festival. Held at Moody Gardens, the four-day fest will feature the BrewTopia Beer Garden with live music, food and beer from brewers all over the country. There's also a home-brewers' competition, seminars and expert speakers (that's the educational part), a charity golf tournament and chefs who will lead food and beer pairing sessions. The highlight of the weekend is sure to be the Brew Ha-Ha Grand Tasting, with more than 300 international, American and Texas brews to sample.
