Busytown

Here’s a musical for the littlest busy bees in your life

Kids will enjoy Kevin Kling’s Busytown, a sweet musical adaptation of Richard Scarry’s much beloved 1968 children’s book What People Do All Day. Every kid wants to know what grownups do when they go to work, and Busytown shows them how adults work together to make the whole community happy. There’s Grocer Cat, Farmer Alfalfa and Blacksmith Fox, to name just a few of the many denizens of Busytown. There’s also a birthday party that the characters have to put together. See Busytownat 1 and 4 p.m. Saturdays. Main Street Theater — Chelsea Market, 4617 Montrose. For information, call 713-524-6706 or visit www.mainstreettheater.com. $12 to $14.
