Followers of the graffiti scene were expecting a gala by the Graffiti Art Foundation about this time, but since, as organizer GONZO247 says, the gala keeps getting “bigger, badder and bolder,” the party has been pushed to sometime in early 2011. In the meantime, the group has decided to keep enthusiasm high with the Graffiti Art Foundation Gala Kick-Off Party. Along with drinking, schmoozing and other party activities, there will be wall-to-wall and room-themed graffiti art installations, video projections, light paintings, laser tagging and a 2010 Year-Round Exhibition debut by Aerosol Warfare’s Online Gallery to enjoy. 7 to 11 p.m. 2110 Jefferson.
