Saint Arnold’s Oktoberfest 2010

Saint Arnold’s Oktoberfest 2010 is here, and the folks from the local brewery are ready to tap a cask or two of what Saint Arnold spokesperson Lennie Ambrose promises is world-class quality beer. If it sounds like Ambrose is bragging, he has a right to: St. Arnold knocked it out of the park at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver a few weekends ago. The brewery’s Fancy Lawnmower won the gold medal in the German-style Kölsch category, and its Oktoberfest seasonal brew took the silver in the Scottish-style ale category. Along with plenty of brew, visitors can enjoy traditional German food or pick up a few collectors’ mugs. Oh, and for those of you who like to play dress-up, there’ll be a King & Queen of Oktoberfest contest both nights, with the chance to win a cash prize.
