There's nothing better than a great night of theater, except maybe a great night of theater for free. The Houston Arts Alliance and the national Theatre Communications Group are offering fans a Free Night of Theater. You can choose between a musical, play, dance concert or any other kind of stage performance. And the show is absolutely free. The only catch is that you only choose one, which might be a little difficult since Stages Repertory Theatre, Main Street Theater, Theatre Under the Stars, Houston Ballet and Da Camera are among the dozen or so participating companies. The first round of tickets for shows from October 1 through 11 were claimed in three hours. For shows October 12 through 24, jump online at 10 a.m. on October 9 and reserve your free tickets.
